Holly Pelesky is a writer and lover of literature. She reads and writes in all genres, preferring that which makes her both laugh and feel. Her major influences are Lorrie Moore, Lidia Yuknavitch, J.D. Salinger, Sylvia Plath, Cheryl Strayed, Kelly Corrigan and B.J. Novak.
She is a student in the MFA Program at the University of Nebraska where she will graduate in July of 2018. There she co-created its first ever fraternity which consists of a handful of emerging writers she is happy to share writing processes with.
She writes primarily and works occasionally by teaching students how to improve their own writing and remain passionate about this craft they once fell in love with. She lives in Nebraska with her two sons.
