brotherhood

We got a new pediatrician. We like him so much better. We went to Holden's one week appointment and our new doctor remembered Holden from the hospital and called him "Superman." Brandon put on Holden's hospital hat. He also saw Holden in his chair and scooted his own chair right up next to him. He... Continue Reading →

5 days old

Holden seems much older than his age. He is already trying to hold up his head. He stares at you and grabs on to your finger. Often he can only be calmed by his mama. He only woke me up three times last night. I couldn't have asked for a better week-old baby. This baby... Continue Reading →

Holden’s home

I started ordering the artwork for Holden's room. This is my first purchase: It's times like this that I wish my sister hadn't moved away. I wish she was here to help me paint the walls red and arrange the furniture and go shopping for little knick knacks that make the room special that only... Continue Reading →

Our second child

It has been no secret that Steve and I would love another boy. Steve picked out Brandon's name in an agreement that I would get to pick out our second child's name. I've been holding onto this name for two years, waiting to have a baby to give it to. The name, of course, is... Continue Reading →
